Pricing & Process
What services does Namaraa provide
Namaraa specializes in providing innovative lighting solutions, including design, studies, and the supply of high-quality lighting materials.
How does the design and study process work?
The lighting project process starts with a client inquiry, leading to the design of the lighting implementation project and a LUX study to determine light distribution.
At this point, the core design and study are complete. If requested, item selection is done by suggesting suitable lighting fixtures.
A comprehensive documentation package (material list, technical submittals, LUX study, company profile) is then provided to the client. Upon client approval, materials are ordered and supplied. Finally, post-delivery technical support and after-sales service are provided.
What factors influence the pricing of your lighting solutions?
Pricing is influenced by the scope of design and study services, the types and quantities of lighting materials supplied, and specific project requirements.
The chosen materials and their lead times can also affect the overall cost.
Can we propose our own materials for the design?
Yes, clients are encouraged to propose materials they feel align best with their vision, especially if they offer specific advantages in terms of specifications or lead time.
What is the typical timeline for a project?
Project timelines can vary depending on the complexity of the design and the availability of materials.
How do payments and invoices work?
Payment terms and invoices are handled by the financial department, and updates are provided to clients regarding payment statuses.
What is the process for finalizing the design?
The goal is to finalize the design as soon as possible after client feedback on proposed designs and materials. Once the design is approved, CAD drawings can commence.
Who can I contact for further details or assistance?
You can reach out to Namaraa’s Executive Representative for further details or assistance. Contact information, including phone numbers and email, is available.
General Questions
What is considered "warm" or "cool" white lighting?
The term “correlated color temperature” (CCT) is used to describe the color of light produced by a light source, measured in Kelvin (K).
Warm white (lower K) appears more yellow/gold, while cool white (higher K) appears more blue.
How can I calculate the minimum lumens needed for shop lighting?
Multiply the square footage of the shop by 70 to get the minimum lumen value for basic lighting. For example, a 1,200 sq ft shop would need a minimum of 84,000 lumens.
What role does smart lighting play in Saudi Arabia's smart city initiatives?
Smart lighting is a key component of smart city development in Saudi Arabia, enhancing connectivity and sustainability.
What are some key trends in the smart lighting market in Saudi Arabia?
The demand for sustainable urban solutions is driving the growth of the smart lighting market, with a focus on energy-efficient and AI-integrated systems.
What is the standard voltage in Saudi Arabia?
Saudi Arabia uses 220 volts typically used in residential, and light commercial buildings.
What type of power plugs and sockets are used?
Saudi Arabia uses UK plugs and sockets 220V at 60Hz.
Do I need a travel adapter for Saudi Arabia?
Yes, you may need a travel adapter because in Saudi Arabia uses only UK plugs and sockets.
How can I find lighting solutions that match architectural styles?
Façade Lighting Services offers bespoke façade lighting solutions to accentuate different architectural styles.
Design & Collaboration
How long does a typical lighting design project take?
The timeline varies greatly depending on the project’s size, complexity, and the speed of client feedback.
A small residential project might take a few weeks, while a large commercial or public space could take several months.
We will provide an estimated timeline during our initial proposal.
What software and tools do you use for your lighting designs?
We utilize industry-standard software for accuracy and visualization. This allows us to perform detailed photometric calculations, create realistic renderings, and produce comprehensive documentation.
Do you provide visualizations or renderings of the proposed lighting design?
Yes, we can provide various visualization tools depending on the project’s needs. This may include 2D lighting plans, 3D renderings to help you envision the result.
How do you collaborate with architects, interior designers, and other project stakeholders?
We believe in seamless integration. We actively communicate with all relevant parties from the outset. We share our designs, solicit feedback, and adapt our plans to ensure the lighting design complements the overall architectural and interior vision. We can participate in project meetings and provide necessary data.
What information do you need from me to start a design project?
To kick off a successful project, we typically need: architectural floor plans (CAD files preferred), elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, desired mood/atmosphere, budget range, project timeline, and any specific requirements or preferences you may have. Photos of the existing space are also helpful.
Can I provide input or specific fixture preferences during the design process?
Absolutely! Your input is crucial. We encourage you to share your ideas, aesthetic preferences, and any specific fixtures you might have in mind. While we will guide you towards the most suitable and efficient solutions, your vision is paramount.
What is the best way to communicate with your design team during a project?
We are flexible! We can communicate via email, phone calls, video conferences, or in-person meetings, whichever is most convenient for you and the project team. We strive for clear and timely communication.
What are the typical deliverables I will receive at the end of the design phase?
Our standard deliverables include:
- Detailed lighting plans (showing fixture locations, aiming, and switching zones)
- Fixture schedule (listing all selected luminaires with specifications, wattage, lumen output, color temperature, CRI, etc.)
- Control schematics and strategies
- Photometric calculations (e.g., lux level reports, uniformity ratios)
- Energy consumption analysis
- Specification sheets for all recommended products
- (Optional, upon request) 3D renderings or visualizations
Does your design service include budget considerations?
Yes, budget is a key factor we consider throughout the design process. We aim to propose solutions that meet your aesthetic and performance goals while staying within your allocated budget. We can offer value engineering suggestions if needed.
How does the design seamlessly transition into the supply of lighting materials?
As a full-service company, our design team works directly with our supply department. Once the design is approved, we can efficiently quote and procure all specified materials, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. This integrated approach streamlines the entire project, from concept to completion.
Do you offer support during the installation phase?
While we primarily focus on design and supply, we can offer technical assistance and clarifications during the installation phase if questions arise regarding our design. For complex installations, on-site supervision can be arranged as an additional service.
What happens if there are changes to the project after the design is finalized?
We understand that project requirements can evolve. We are happy to discuss any necessary revisions. Significant changes may require an amendment to the design agreement and additional fees, which will be discussed transparently.
